For years, Moonlight Serenade has showcased HPU’s talented students—but this year, we’re redefining the experience with a fresh new twist.
A Space for Creative Individuality
This year’s annual Moonlight Serenade will also serve as Yusuf & Amelia’s undergraduate capstone project, featuring a special showcase of their original music.
Moonlight Serenade will also provide a platform for all HPU students to showcase their original work in a supportive and creative environment while also featuring solo and Ensemble Performances.

Meet our Directors
Yusuf & Mel
Yusuf Najjar (Show Lead)
Yusuf Najjar is a Palestinian-Persian musician and educator, concurrently completing his B.A. in Arts & Markets with a Music Concentration and his M.Ed. in Social Studies & Secondary Education at Hawai‘i Pacific University. Originally from Manama, Bahrain, and raised in Ottawa, Canada, he is a graduate of Canterbury High School for the Performing Arts, where he earned a Certificate of Fine Arts in Dramatic Arts and completed the Business Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) program.
He is honored to share a selection of his unreleased original compositions and lyrics tonight, performed by a variety of talented singers from our HPU ‘Ohana.

Amelia Domer (Media Lead)
Hi everyone! My name is Amelia Domer and I am a senior at Hawaii Pacific University studying Strategic Communications. I have long been intertwined in the music realm and love to sing/write music. Through this project I have been able to combine both my passion for marketing and music into one. I am lucky enough to also be able to perform my own music, I look forward to the show and hope you guys do too!

The donation was super easy, my phone was dead at the event and did not have cash so I donated after! Very helpful to finally see a site for this.
